The pot is made of hard anodized aluminum which conducts heat well. It has a ceramic non-stick coating for easier cooking and cleaning. The slightly thicker bottom compared to the sides of the pan contributes to a more even temperature throughout the pan and minimizes the risk of your food burning. The bottom also has a spiral pattern for optimum heat transfer and grip on the pan support. The plastic lid doubles as a strainer and is fitted with silicone handles for easy handling. An adjustable and removable handle is included, it can be locked in two positions for safe use and transport.
